Krunal Pandya’s ‘Dadagiri’ runs here, this player left the team after getting upset

New Delhi: Veteran batsman Deepak Hooda has severed ties with the Baroda cricket team after differences with skipper Krunal Pandya last season. The Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) has also issued him NOC (No Objection Certificate). BCA secretary Ajit Lele confirmed this to PTI on Thursday.

Left team because of Krunal Pandya

In January, the BCA had suspended Hooda in the last domestic season for ‘indiscipline’ and ‘damaging the reputation of the game’. Hooda left the camp before the start of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Hooda had claimed that Pandya misbehaved with him. The twenty-six-year-old Hooda made his first-class debut in 2014 and has scored 2,908 runs in 46 matches with the help of nine centuries and 15 half-centuries. Right-arm off-spinner Hooda also has 20 wickets in his name.

Fans furious on social media

As soon as the fans got the news that Deepak Hooda has left the team of Baroda due to Krunal Pandya, since then the fans are giving different reactions on social media. Fans have expressed their anger by writing a variety of tweets on social media.

Irfan Pathan also felt bad

Former India fast bowler Irfan Pathan has termed his departure as a ‘big loss’. Pathan tweeted, ‘How many cricket associations lose a player who is included in the list of probable players of the Indian team. Deepak Hooda leaving Baroda cricket is a big loss. He could have served the team for 10 more years as he is still young. Being from Baroda, I am very disappointed with this.
