New Delhi: Former Team India opener Wasim Jaffer has once again tried to tickle through his meme. This time he has enjoyed the English cricket team, which showed a defensive approach in the Lord’s Test match against New Zealand.
Wasim Jaffer having fun
Wasim Jaffer, while targeting England, wrote on Twitter, “If you are not able to chase the target at 3.6 runs per over even in your home, while there is no World Test Championship point at stake, Then when will you try? This is not a good sign for Test cricket. Along with this, while sharing the meme through the picture of Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal, he wrote, ‘Kya gunda banega re tu.’

Dr Hua Lord’s Test
In the Test match played at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, New Zealand had given England a target of 273 runs to win. In response, the hosts scored 170 runs for 3 wickets at the end of the 5th day and the match ended in a draw. Looking at the defensive batting of the English team, it was clear that they were playing to draw, not to win.
