New Delhi: Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan believes that if Team India has to win the ICC T20 World Cup, then captain Virat Kohli will have to become a little self-interested.
Michael Vaughan believes that Virat Kohli has to give himself time. If they start doing this and put some boundary then no one will be able to stop them. Significantly, Kohli is going through a poor form.
In the first T20 match against England, Virat Kohli gave a disappointing performance. Adil Rashid sent him to the pavilion without giving him a chance to open an account. Chris Jordan caught Kohli’s catch.

Vaughan told Cricbuzz – If you want to make a big score for Team India, then you have to be very effective. If T20 World Cup is to be won, Virat Kohli will have to be a bit selfish, this will benefit the team. In the first few balls, if they show little self-sacrifice, then they will get a chance to freeze in 10 balls. Even if he drops 3-4 balls, one or two boundaries will be useful.
Michael Vaughan said that I do not think much about Virat’s batting because he never appears out of form, but it must have come to his mind that things are not right now. By playing only 10-15 balls, he can return as such Virat Kohli for which he is famous.
