New Delhi: The third match of the 4 match Test series between India and England (IND vs ENG) will be played at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. Prior to this match, the stadium was inaugurated by the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind. Motera Stadium is the largest cricket stadium in the world and after its reconstruction it will be the first match in this stadium.
Amit Shah said, ‘Today is the golden day of India’s sports world. Today, the land of a large sports complex has been performed by linking it with the name of the Iron Man Bharat Ratna Sardar Patel with the tax-money of the President of India. In the program, Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that the name of this stadium will be ‘Narendra Modi Stadium’. Home Minister Amit Shah announced that we have made such facility here that in 6 months, Olympic, Asiad and Commonwealth can organize sports. Ahmedabad will now be known as Sports City. Amit Shah said that Narendra Modi had dreamed this as Gujarat CM, which is now fulfilled.
Ganguly could not exist
BCCI Chief Sourav Ganguly gave a tweet about the absence of the opening ceremony of Motera Stadium through a tweet. He said, ‘Today I will miss coming to the stadium. It has taken a lot of effort to build it (Motera Stadium). The Pink Test was our dream and it will be our second chance. Hopefully, the field will be full like last time. Under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.

Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad is the largest stadium in the world in terms of viewership. In this stadium, 1 lakh 10 thousand people can be present simultaneously. The BCCI has already allowed 50 per cent spectators to come to the ground for this match, in which case more than 50000 people can be present in this match.
