Parthiv took retirement last year
Parthiv made his Test debut for Team India at the age of 17 on the England tour in 2002. Parthiv Patel holds the record for making the youngest debut as a wicket-keeper batsman for Team India. He has scored 934 runs in 25 test matches at an average of 31.13 and has scored 6 half-centuries. No century is in his name. Parthiv Patel was also a part of the Indian team selected for the World Cup in 2003 and everyone was surprised at his selection. However, later when Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s magic started, Patel did not get much opportunities in Team India. He said goodbye to cricket in December 2020.
