MS Dhoni’s bat will roar in second half of IPL, CSK player told plan

New Delhi: Fast bowler Deepak Chahar said that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni can return to his form in the second half of IPL 2021. Dhoni scored only 37 runs in seven matches in the first half of IPL 2021. IPL 2021 was postponed indefinitely earlier this month in view of the growing case of corona in the bio bubble.

Roar of Dhoni

Chahar said, ‘A batsman cannot bat in the same way for 15-20 years. If any batsman has not played cricket regularly before, then it is not easy to come and perform in a big tournament like IPL. They take a little time to adapt themselves according to the circumstances.

Dhoni always played the role of finisher

Chahar said, ‘Dhoni has always played the role of finisher, but when you are not playing cricket continuously then it becomes much more difficult. Even in the 2018 and 2019 seasons, Dhoni Bhai started off slow, but as the season progressed, he came into the rhythm. So maybe in the second half of IPL 2021, you will get to see Dhoni’s best.

This season of IPL has been very good for CSK

Chahar had a very good season of IPL and he took eight wickets in seven matches. The fast bowler said, ‘This is my fourth year with Chennai and Dhoni bhai has reposed trust in me as a strike bowler. This belief is very important because it not only inspires me but also others.
