There have been heated arguments with Virat-Shastri many times: Prasad
MSK Prasad has told in a recent interview that many times he has had an argument with captain Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri in meetings. Not only this, these people did not even like to see each other after the meeting. However, the next day everything was fine.
Prasad (MSK Prasad) said, ‘Sometimes after the meeting, we did not even want to see each other. But when we met the next morning, we respected that whatever we said meant it.
He said that Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri will tell you how we used to have heated arguments during our meetings. We did not have differences in public, that does not mean that we were bowing down to them. Who knows on how many issues we have persuaded them.
Prasad said on World Test Championship
MSK Prasad said, ‘There are no two ways for this. It gives you as much satisfaction and happiness. We did our best in terms of selection. We did our small part in helping this Indian team play the final of the World Test Championship. This team totally deserves it, as they have been number one for the last four years. Now, I can’t wait to watch the finale’.
