Melbourne: Australia’s star off-spinner Nathan Lyon is surprised by the hype about the Ahmedabad pitch and said that it seems that when the ball starts to spin, everyone starts crying while the fast bowling is on the pitch. No one speaks when the teams are out on low scores.
Team India got Leon’s support
The Ahmedabad pitch is facing criticism from some after being dismissed for 112 and 81 runs in both innings during England’s 10-wicket defeat in the third Test, including former captain Michael Vaughan, Andrew Strauss and Alistair Cook is also included.
Nathan Lyon, however, praised the pitch curator. ‘The West Australian’ quoted Leone as saying, ‘We play on a fast bowling friendly pitch around the world and are out for 47, 60 runs. Nobody says anything (about the pitch), but as it starts to spin, it seems that all over the world has started crying.
Leon liked the Ahmedabad pitch
Nathan Lyon said, ‘I don’t understand that. I didn’t mind it (in the pitch), it was exciting. Nathan Lyon, who traveled from pitch curator to one of the greatest off-spinners, said he would like to bring the curator of Ahmedabad to the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
Nathan Lyon said, ‘I was watching it all night. It was awesome. I am thinking of bringing that curator to SCG. ‘ While India landed with three spinners in the day-night Test, England replaced only one spinner, Jack Leach, in their playing eleven.
Leon said, ‘The best thing about this Test match was that England had landed with four fast bowlers. This is enough for me. I do not need to say anything else.
