Karachi: Pacer Hasan Ali’s reported two-corona for Kovid-19 has been negative. He will now join the Pakistani team before the tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had all players and team officials tested for the Kovid-19 before touring South Africa and Zimbabwe and only Hasan’s initial results came back positive.
The fast bowler was found positive a day before the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was postponed earlier this month. PSL was postponed due to increasing cases of virus in franchise teams.
Hasan Ali said that he had participated in a party in which other players from Islamabad United were also present, including Australian leg-spinner Fawad Ahmed.
Fawad’s test was found positive during the league and he was allowed to return home only after being on segregation at the hotel. The Pakistani team will play three ODIs and four T20 Internationals in South Africa and two Tests and three T20 Internationals in Zimbabwe.
