Fast bowler Wahab Riaz has been sent back from England. He did not have a work visa, due to which he was sent back to Pakistan. Wahab had arrived in England for The Hundred tournament, where he is part of the Trent Rockets team. But due to lack of work permit, he has been sent back to his country.

Whether Pakistan’s veteran fast bowler Wahab Riaz will be able to travel to England to participate in the opening ‘The Hundred’ competition, he will get information only next week. Wahab said, ‘My ‘work permit’ has been issued but I will get information about it next week and only when I get my ‘work permit’ visa, I will be able to leave again.

The fast bowler is currently out of the Pakistani team and he said that it was due to a misunderstanding about the visa that caused problems for him and he was turned back from the airport.
