Sydney: On Saturday, a plane crashed near Cromer Park, about 30 km from the hotel in which the Indian city of Quarantine is located. This upset local cricketers and footballers playing there.

When the plane fell down near the ground after falling victim to the accident, cricket and football matches were being played on the ground. On seeing the plane coming down towards them, the players started running in panic. Greg Rollins, Senior Vice President of Cromer Cricket Club has said, ‘I shouted at the players who were in the shed. I said run and they started running.
Scott Menning’s father and girlfriend were in the shed. He said, ‘I ran screaming and that (pilot) somehow came over the shed. This brought 12 people out. The aircraft belonged to a flying school which crashed due to engine malfunction. 2 people of this aircraft managed to survive even after injuries.
The Indian cricket team trained after a long time on Saturday after reaching Australia. The team arrived here from the UAE on Thursday. The players spent Friday at the Sydney Olympic Park Hotel.

The team is currently quarantined at the Pullman Hotel in Sydney Olympic Park. The Government of New South Wales has allowed the Indian team to train while in Quarantine. The players of the Indian team went to the gym and running on the day of Diwali on Saturday.
