Paul Collingwood warns, ‘Many teams will fear England in T20 World Cup 2021’

Ahmedabad: Assistant coach of the England cricket team Paul Collingwood on Friday claimed that many teams will be awe of England in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. It is worth noting that under his captaincy, the English team was made the 2010 T20 World Cup champion by the English team.

Before the last match of the 5 match T20 International series against India, Paul Collingwood told the British media, ‘The way the team has performed in the limited-overs format in 4 years has led to many teams in the World Cup. Our team will be scared.

Coach Paul Collingwood said, ‘Our team has many match-winning players from first to number 11, who can win the match on their own with the bat. This team is very different from the 2010 team but I do not think we can be in better condition than this.

Paul Collingwood said, “Our 2010 team regained momentum in the last moments. We took some risks, including selections.” We know what kind of cricket we want to play. I think this team is better prepared.

Paul Collingwood said that the secret of the success of this team is to play aggressive cricket. He said, ‘I never think you can win a big tournament like World Cup by playing minor cricket. You have to get ahead of the game of others. This team has done this in the last 4 years, which is to adopt an aggressive attitude.

Regarding the last T20 against India, he said, ‘Such pressure matches will help the team in better preparation for the World Cup. This is a big contest and both teams know this thing. This will give you the experience of knockout cricket. For us, it is like a final. You need to have such experience before the World Cup.
