PCB promises to Babar Azam, captaincy will not be lifted even after allegations of sexual harassment


Karachi: Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam was recently accused of sexual harassment and physical torture by a woman and it was believed that Azam may have to lose his captaincy. But now the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made it clear that the team will remain in the hands of Azam for a long time. PCB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Wasim Khan has said that Babar will remain the captain as long as he and chairman Ehsan Money are there.

Wasim Khan said, ‘We have made him captain because he is our best batsman. He is very strong young and mentally. They can handle the command of all three formats better. He is our best selection because he is the better future. He is our best batsman. It is time to move forward with Babur. He will also become the best captain in Tests. Babar was recently made the Test captain of the Pakistan cricket team. He is already the captain of ODI and T20 teams. Babar was recently accused of exploitation by a Pakistani woman.

In a press conference, the Pakistani woman claimed that Babar Azam exploited her for 10 years and also made her pregnant. The woman has said that Babur promised to marry her. The woman had said that when Azam was not selected in the Pakistan team, she used to bear his expenses and even after that. He also said that Azam had asked him to get an abortion.
