While the Rajasthan Royals have handed over the captaincy to Sanju Samson this year. So at the same time, Rishabh Pant is captaining Delhi due to Shreyas Iyer’s injury.
Butler gave credit to Dhoni
Butler (Jos Buttler) said, ‘The credit for this practice of wicketkeeper captains goes to Dhoni and his decisions taken from the sixth sense. He has been a great captain and there are many players who want to repeat his success. He said that captaining from the back of the wicket gives an extra advantage and he is confident of Samson’s captaincy from the Royals for a good performance this season.
Butler expects a lot from Rajasthan
Butler (Jos Buttler) further said, ‘The wicketkeeper can keep a close watch on the back of the wicket and this makes it easier to take decisions. We have a very diverse team this season with all-rounders and new captains like Ben Stokes and Chris Maurice. Sanju has been a part of the Royals for a long time and he is a very quiet person. I am sure that under his captaincy we will do well while enjoying our game.
Stokes told The X Factor
Buttler, who has played 50 Tests, 148 ODIs and 79 T20 matches for England, said that Ben Stokes of his own country has been described as the X factor of Rajasthan this season.
