Police successful in IPL betting, many accused arrested from Bengaluru

Bengaluru: In the case of IPL betting, the crime branch of the city has got great success. 3 people have been arrested here in different cases of betting in cricket. Bengaluru Police said on Tuesday that 2 people have been arrested from Malleshwaram area on Monday. Both of them had bet on the IPL 2020 (IPL 2020) match played between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Police said that these two were paying money to the betting winners while recovering from the losers. Police have seized Rs 13.5 lakh from them. In another case, a person has been arrested for encouraging people to bet on cricket. The police have seized Rs 85,000 from him.

This is not the first case of IPL betting this year. Since the start of the season in the UAE, bookies from across the country have become active. The police is also seen in the mood for action and is tightening the screws on these accused. Despite all the efforts of the police, fear of ending the criminals is not being taken.
