New Delhi: Former Indian team spinner Pragyan Ojha says that the team should play both Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin in the final match of the World Test Championship against New Zealand. Ojha said that India does not have a fast bowling all-rounder player in the team, Jadeja can give an option in the batting order of the team.
Jadeja-Ashwin included in playing XI
Pragyan Ojha told Sports Today, ‘India should play both Jadeja and Ashwin, as both players can bowl and bat. The big point is also that Jadeja can bat in the top order as well. You should remember that Jadeja has a record of scoring three triple centuries in domestic cricket.
Jadeja’s batting is fantastic
Pragyan Ojha said, ‘I think Jadeja can bat for a long time and Ashwin also recently scored a century. I believe that if these two spinners get even a little chance to play, then they should play. Both these players have better experience to win the match on any wicket.
Ashwin performs best
Ojha said, ‘Overall this team is fantastic. I am also following Hanuma Vihari. He had a good idea of playing in county cricket. Jadeja returned to the field from the IPL 2021 season after suffering an injury during the Australia tour this year. Ashwin did better in the home series against England this year.
