Tennis Australia Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Craig Tiley said this on Sunday in response to unconfirmed reports that claimed that the grandslam of the season could be deferred until February or March.
The tournament is scheduled to begin on January 18, but there is a question of meeting the needs of around 2,500 people, including players and associate members. Tele said in a statement issued here that Tennis Australia is doing everything to decide the tennis schedule for the upcoming summer season.
He said, “Our intention is to deliver the summer session in conditions that help the players prepare for their best and the players and spectators all feel safe.” Victoria State chief Daniel Andrews has said that the government is working to smooth any segregation issues.
