Chandigarh: India’s legendary runner Milkha Singh, known as ‘Flying Sikh’, was admitted to the hospital on Monday. He was quarantine in his house after coming positive in Coronavirus Test.
‘Milkha Singh’s condition stable’
Milkha Singh’s son and top golfer Jeev Milkha Singh said that he was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali as a precautionary measure. 91-year-old Milkha Singh was found positive on COVID-19 on Wednesday. Sources in the hospital said that Milkha’s condition is stable.

‘Milkha was not eating anything’
Jeev Milkha Singh told PTI, ‘He has been admitted to the hospital, he was feeling weak and was not eating anything since yesterday, so we had to get him admitted to the hospital. Although his parameters seem fine, but we thought it would be safe to recruit him as he would be under the supervision of senior doctors in the hospital.
‘Jeev Milkha Singh from India from Dubai’
Jeev reached Chandigarh from Dubai on Saturday after his father came to Corona positive. Milkha Singh had told after the report that his family underwent an investigation after the two domestic helpers got infected with the virus. He said, “On Wednesday only I came positive, which I am surprised.” Milkha Singh’s wife Nirmal Kaur and other family members did not get any positive.

Punjab CM Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted, “ The Flying Sikhs wish for early recovery of Milkha Singh who has been admitted to the hospital in Mohali for treatment of Kovid-19. Get well soon sir.
