Sharjah: Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant, who faced defeat after coming close to victory in a very exciting match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), expressed hope that his team will come back strongly next year. Delhi, who were in the top two by performing well throughout the season, were defeated by Kolkata Knight Riders by 3 wickets in the second qualifier on Wednesday. Despite giving an easy target of 136 runs to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the bowlers returned Delhi to the match.
Rishabh Pant gets emotional after defeat
KKR needed six runs in the last two balls and Delhi bowler Ravichandran Ashwin was on a hat-trick, but Rahul Tripathi gave KKR victory by hitting a six.
