New Delhi: India’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami turned 31 on 3 September. He received many wishes on Shami’s birthday. Meanwhile, something happened which caught everyone’s attention. Actually Shami trolled wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant for his birthday wishes.

Shami, who was in England for the five-Test series, celebrated his birthday with the Indian audience at The Oval. Pant, who is known for his funny presence on the field, pointed to Shami in a tweet, which read, ‘Shami bhai, both ball and Umar are going fast. Happy Birthday’.

However, Shami was ready to give a befitting reply. Trolling Pant, this fast bowler said that no one can stop the aging process, but he can definitely stop himself from gaining weight.
Let us tell you that Shami was not included in the playing XI for the ongoing Oval Test against England. He has taken 11 wickets in the first three Tests of the series. His best performance in the series – 4/95 – came in the third Test at Headingley.
1-1 draw series
The 5-match series between Team India and England is currently tied at 1-1. The first match of this series was a draw due to rain. After which India defeated England in the second Test played at Lord’s. However, in the third Test, England returned and won the match in a one-sided fashion and the series was tied at 1-1. Now both the teams will try to take the lead in the fourth Test.
