New Delhi: Indian cricketers, who are undergoing 10-day quarantine ahead of the final of the World Test Championship (WTC), began their tour of England with a two-day intra-squad practice match at the Hampshire Bowl here. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday released pictures and a video of the special moments of the first day’s game. This match started on Friday.

In this match, a good news came out for the Indian fans. Star wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant appeared in amazing form and he also hit long sixes. Series to be played from England also
The Indian team is on a three-and-a-half-month tour of England, where it will play the WTC final against New Zealand from June 18 and then play a five-Test series in August-September. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, India is not allowed to play for any local club or county team as before. Even New Zealand played a warm-up match after reaching Southampton last month. The Indian team reached Southampton on 3 June. The women’s cricket team also came to England in the same flight with him.
