Road Safety World Series 2021: Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar played a blistering innings, India Legends hit a hat-trick


New Delhi: Chhattisgarh (India) and Bangladesh (Bangladesh) teams were face to face in the Academy Road Safety World Series match at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium. A large crowd gathered to watch the former players on the field. In this match, the most bickering was happening to see Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag.

Sehwag’s stormy appearance again

The Indian innings started with a bang in the match. Virender Sehwag appeared to bat in his own style and hit the fastest half-century of the tournament. Sehwag played a tremendous innings of 80 not out with the help of 10 fours and 5 sixes in 35 balls.

At the same time, Sachin Tendulkar’s bat also spoke a lot. He scored an unbeaten 33 from 26 balls with the help of 5 fours.

‘Great’ victory of India legends

In the match, India Legends defeated Bangladesh Legends by 10 wickets. This is the third consecutive victory of India Legends in this tournament. Bangladesh Legends scored 109 runs after winning the toss and batting first. In response, India Legends managed to score 114 runs in 10.1 overs thanks to the innings of Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar.

For India Legends, spin bowler Pragyan Ojha bowled brilliantly and took 2 wickets for 12 runs in four overs. Yuvraj Singh and Vinay Kumar also took two wickets. Yusuf Pathan and Manpreet Goni also got one success each.
