The meeting was attended by Team India captain Virat Kohli, coach Ravi Shastri and members of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) who are overseeing Rohit Sharma’s fitness. Apart from this, Chief selector Sunil Joshi was also present in the meeting.

According to the information, the final assessment will be done on December 11 on the fitness of Rohit Sharma and on this day, a decision will also be taken whether he will go to Australia or not. Even if Rohit passes the fitness test, many troubles will remain. As of 31 December, there is no international flight service between India and Australia.

Even if Rohit Sharma reaches Australia somehow, he will have to be quarantined for 14 days as per the rules. It is possible that Sourav Ganguly will try to reduce the quarantine period after talking to Cricket Australia. Despite this, it is very difficult for Rohit to join the Adelaide and Melbourne Test.
