Sachin Tendulkar lost another old friend due to coronavirus


new Delhi: Team India’s great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has lost another close friend due to Coronavirus epidemic. Former cricketer Vijay Shirke died in a hospital in Thane district adjoining Mumbai. He was 57 years old.

Used to play cricket with Sachin
In the 1980s, Sunin Mafatlal played Sachin Tendulkar and Vijay Shirke together for the team. Vijay was included in this team as a fast bowler.

Salil Ankola expressed grief
Sachin’s old friend Salil Ankola has paid tribute to Vijay Shirke on his Facebook page. He wrote, ‘You said goodbye soon my friend, may your soul rest in peace, the time we spent outside the grounds and the grounds can never be forgotten.’
