Sagar Rana Murder Case: 6-day police remand to wrestler Sushil Kumar


New Delhi: The Olympic medal winner Sushil Kumar (Sushil Kumar), accused in the junior wrestler Sagar Rana Murder Case at Chhatrasal Stadium, has been sent to the police custody for 6 days by the court.

‘Confession of assault’

It is being told that wrestler Sushil Kumar had confessed to assaulting Sagar. According to the information being received from the sources, Sushil Kumar told in the inquiry that he did not know that the matter would go ahead. He said that friends angrily thrashed Sagar, but no one had any idea that he would die due to beating.

Differences surfaced with Sagar Rana

Talk of mutual differences between Sushil Kumar and Sagar Rana has also come to light. It is being told that Sagar lived in Sushil Kumar’s wife’s flat for rent and used to learn wrestling at Chhatrasal Stadium. The minor saying went so far that Sagar died.

Special cell arrested

After the murder of wrestler Sagar Rana at Chhatrasal Stadium, absconding Olympian medal winner Sushil Kumar was arrested by the police from Delhi. Special CP-Special Cell Neeraj Thakur arrested wrestler Sushil Kumar and his partner Ajay.

1 lakh reward was on Sushil

Delhi Police had announced a reward of 1 lakh rupees on Wrestler Sushil Kumar and 50 thousand rupees on his other partner Ajay. The police was successful in nabbing the accused after much effort.
