Saina Nehwal goes to Thailand to participate in Thailand Open; HS Prannoy’s report also positive

Bangkok: India’s leading badminton player Saina Nehwal has been found to be Corona positive and due to this she has withdrawn her name from Thailand Open starting here on Tuesday.

Badminton Association of India has also confirmed this. BAI has tweeted and said that Saina Corona has been found positive.

Saina Nehwal was found positive after the third round test on Monday. Saina was scheduled to play her first match on the first day of the tournament on Tuesday.

Saina had earlier participated in the All England Open in March last year.

BAI has said in its tweet that apart from Saina Nehwal, India’s leading male player HS Prannoy has also been found to be Corona positive.

According to BAI, both the players will remain isolated in the hospital for the next 10 days. Also, detailed details in this regard will be given after some time.

Kashyap will also have corona test

Apart from this, Parupalli Kashyap, the husband of Saina Nehwal, has also been taken to the hospital as he too will be tested for corona.
