Second wave of Corona in Adelaide, CA makes big announcement about India-Australia series

new Delhi: Cricket Australia (CA) has said that they are making sure that despite the second wave of Corona virus, the first Test match between India and Australia will be played in Adelaide, which is the first day-night Test match between the two teams. Will happen.

Corona cases are suddenly increasing in Adelaide and the first test match starting on 17 December is also under threat. But CA has made it clear that it is still preparing for the historic day and night Test match between the two teams and it is moving in the right direction.

Due to increasing cases of corona in Adelaide, some other states have had to declare it an epidemic hotspot. Adelaide has seen a sudden increase in corona cases. There Corona cases have increased from four to 18.

The governments of Western Australia, Tasmania and The Northern Territory have decided to close their borders. At the same time, Queensland has made a two-week quarantine rule for people coming from Adelaide.
This rule means that all players in Western Australia who take part in the Marsh Sheffield Shield match played in Adelaide will have to be kept in self isolation for two weeks. This means that Australia’s Test captain Penn and wicketkeeper batsman Matthew Wade and the rest of Tasmania’s team members will also have to go into isolation.

The Indian team is currently in Australia and is taking out a two-week quarantine period. It is the fifth day of the team’s quarantine, it will end one day before the first ODI on November 27.

However, the good thing is that New South Wales and Victoria have decided to keep their borders open. New South Wales major Gladys Berries Kalyan has already said that we all need to live with the virus and there is no hope that there will be any change in this matter.

As far as the schedule of the Test series is concerned, Victoria has already said that no restrictions will be imposed on the people coming from Adelaide, which will be a great relief.
