Karachi: Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has advised Mohammad Amir. He advised Aamir to sort out the differences with the national team management and also requested to return in future.
Shoaib Akhtar reprimanded Aamir
Akhtar (Shoaib Akhtar) told PTV, ‘Aamir should realize that’ Papa ‘Mickey Arthur will not always be together to defend him and he will have to behave like a mature person now’.
He said, ‘You have to be mature enough to understand that management will not work as you wish and hence I have to increase my performance and level of hard work’.
Akhtar (Shoaib Akhtar) gave the example of senior batsman Mohammad Hafeez, who at one time had differences with the Pakistani team management. He said, ‘The management was also against Hafeez but he only focused on scoring runs. He did not give the management enough opportunity. Aamir should learn from Hafeez ‘.
Aamir took retirement due to differences
Aamir retired from international cricket in December last year due to differences with head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach and Car Younis.
Now left-arm fast bowler Aamir, who is available to play only in the T20 league globally, made it clear that as long as Misbah and Younis are the coaches, he will not keep himself available for selection.
