Shahid Afridi had an open conversation with Pakistani news channel Samaa Tv about the incident when Shoaib Akhtar, being very angry with one thing, reached to kill Mohammad Asif with a bat.

The incident Shahid Afridi was talking about happened in the year 2007. When there were reports that Shoaib Akhtar had attacked fellow player Mohammad Asif with the bat in dressing form. The reports were later confirmed and Shoaib Akhtar was recalled from the 2007 ICC World T20 in South Africa.
