Pakistan lost in this match, but Pakistani batsman Fakhar Zaman won the hearts of all cricket lovers by playing an innings of 193 runs. Quinton de Kock was tricked and Fakhar Zaman missed out on just 7 runs to score a double century. Questions are being raised on this method of Di Cock and now Shoaib Akhtar has put a class of Di Cock fiercely.

Quintan de Cock’s finesse

In this match, the hosts scored 341 runs losing 6 wickets in 50 overs. In response, the guest team could only manage 324 runs after losing 9 wickets. Fakhar Zaman played a strong innings of 193 runs in just 155 balls. During this, he hit 18 fours and 10 sixes. He was awarded the ‘Man of the Match Award’ for his outstanding batting.

Fakhar Zaman quickly completed the first run on the first ball of the last over. When he ran for another run, wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock pointed at the non-striker end, distracting Fakhar. Till then Aiden Markram hit the ball on the wicket.

Shoaib Akhtar’s anger

Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has questioned De Kock’s sportsmanship on his YouTube channel. Shoaib said, “The Fakhar Zaman did with de Kok was not at all right and it is against the spirit of the game.” A rule has also been made about this, according to which a penalty of 5 runs is imposed on such action and that ball also has to be thrown again. He told that he wanted to see Fakhar having a double century and it was very bad to see him getting out like this.
