In the first match of this league which started again, Lahore Qalandars defeated Islamabad United by 5 wickets. From Lahore, the hero of this match was star all-rounder Rashid Khan.

In reply, Lahore won the match with one ball remaining in the last over. The hero of this victory was Rashid Khan. While bowling first, Rashid took one wicket for just 9 runs in 4 overs.
