Sunil Gavaskar speaks big about Rohit Sharma for Australia tour

new Delhi: Indian cricket team opener Rohit Sharma is not part of Team India going to Australia next month. Rohit is currently suffering from an injury, due to which he has not been selected in the Indian team for the Australian tour.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians (MI) has shared a video, in which the hitman is seen practicing net. In such a situation, Sunil Gavaskar, the legendary batsman of India, has put his point, questioning the selection limit.

The situation should be clarified about Rohit’s fitness – Gavaskar

Significantly, Mumbai Indians (Mumbai Indians) captain Rohit Sharma is missing from the last two matches of IPL 2020 due to hamstring. In such a situation, on Monday, BCCI’s limited selection from Team India, selected for the tour of Australia, did not include his name for the same reason.

But when Mi shared a video on his official Twitter handle, Rohit is seen batting in a good rhythm. So the fans have raised a voice on whether Rohit is not really fit. Meanwhile, on Rohit’s injury and on this video, Sunil Gavaskar has said that the situation regarding Rohit Sharma’s injury should be cleared.

In the video, we can see that Rohit is batting well wearing a pad. If his injury is serious, he does not come to practice. In such a situation, the absence of Rohit for almost a month and a half long tour of Australia is already surprising. It is a matter of thinking what kind of injury it is.

Indian team will miss Rohit’s shortage

Apart from this, according to Sunil Gavaskar, if Rohit Sharma does not go for the upcoming Australian tour. So, Team India will have to pay a lot of compensation for it. Because Rohit is the main pillar of Indian cricket team in Tests, ODIs and T20Is.

Earlier in the year 2018-19 tour of Australia, Rohit Sharma has shown his bat amazing. However, the BCCI has made it clear if the hitmen are fit. So he will leave for Australia along with Team India.
