Sunil Gavaskar’s big statement, said Dhoni left Tendulkar and Kohli behind

Abu Dhabi: Legendary player Sunil Gavaskar said that the popularity of two-time World Cup winning captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in India has also left behind Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli.

Former Indian captain Gavaskar is in the UAE for the 13th Indian Premier League commentary. Dhoni had said goodbye to international cricket recently. He played a competitive match for the first time since the semifinal match against New Zealand in the 2019 World Cup.

From the inaugural match of IPL, Gavaskar said, ‘Dhoni has come from Ranchi where there is not much cricket culture, so the whole of India wants him. In Mumbai and Kolkata who love Tendulkar, there will be more in Delhi and Bengaluru who want Kohli, but Dhoni’s fans are all over India.

Let me tell you that the bugle of the 13th series of IPL (IPL 2020) has survived and in the first match MS Dhoni’s men defeated the defending champions Mumbai Indians by 5 wickets. SS Dhoni has returned to the field after 14 months. After such a long time, this veteran player, who is making a comeback, has warned everyone that this time CSK has come stronger.
