new Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina will turn 34 years old. Raina has pledged to provide toilets and drinking water facilities in 34 schools in Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and the National Capital Region (NCR) on his birthday. Raina will start this initiative in collaboration with the NGO Gracia Raina Foundation. This foundation is named after his own daughter Gracia Raina. This foundation will work in collaboration with Amitabh Shah. Through this initiative, more than 10000 children studying in these schools will get health and sanitation facilities.
Suresh Raina said, ‘I was very happy to celebrate my 34th birthday with this initiative. Every child is entitled to quality education. Clean drinking water and toilet facilities in schools is their important right. I hope that with the support of the youth, we can make a significant contribution on behalf of ‘Gracia Raina Foundation’.
Giving back to the society that has given me so much has always been my guiding philosophy. As I turn 34, I’m excited to launch my most special project yet with @grfcare & @UnstoppableYUVA to provide toilets, drinking water & adolescent health programs across 34 schools in India pic.twitter.com/1ik6LpcwNN

Suresh Raina has also been seen doing many good things for the society before. Earlier, during the Corona virus, he also contributed to the Prime Minister’s Care Fund and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. Along with this, people were also requested to join this initiative.

Let me tell you that Suresh Raina had announced his retirement this year with Mahendra Singh Dhoni. At the same time, he had withdrawn the name from the IPS this year due to personal reasons. Their not playing for Chennai Super Kings proved to be a huge loss for the team and the team could not even reach the playoff stage of IPL and got out of the tournament.
