BCCI is discussing about T20 World Cup
According to the information, the BCCI is in talks with the Sri Lanka board regarding the organization of the T20 World Cup. Let us tell you that in the ICC meeting held on 1 June, BCCI was given time till 28 June to decide on hosting the T20 World Cup.
Pitch condition will not be as good in UAE
Talking to ANI, a BCCI official said that there is a discussion going on between the BCCI and the UAE to organize the T20 World Cup, but it should also be kept in mind that apart from the IPL, many more matches are to be held in the UAE. In such a situation, the condition of the pitch during the World Cup will not be that good. Therefore, talks are also going on with the Sri Lanka board regarding the organization of the T20 World Cup.
There are many options in Sri Lanka
The official said that even if the T20 World Cup is organized outside India, the rights will remain with the BCCI. There are only three venues in the UAE, Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, but there are many options in Sri Lanka. In such a situation, organizing the T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka is also being considered.
