Tauktae Cyclone caused havoc at Wankhede Stadium; Photo viral


New Delhi: Due to the cyclonic storm Tauktae from the Arabian Sea, it continues to wreak havoc in many western states including Maharashtra. On Monday night, the cyclonic storm Tau-te (Tauktae) hit the Saurashtra coast of Gujarat at a speed of 185 kmph.

Storm caused havoc in Wankhede Stadium

Apart from Gujarat, this storm has also wreaked havoc in Maharashtra. The storm caused a lot of damage to the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. A stand and site screen of the Wankhede Stadium collapsed and fell down due to Hurricane Tauktae.

On Twitter, people are constantly commenting by sharing the photos of the Wankhede Stadium. Explain that the impact of cyclonic storm Tau-Te was seen in different districts of Maharashtra. Mumbai rained heavily with strong winds.

Severe cyclone hurts Maharashtra in bad condition

Officials in Maharashtra said that 7 people died in different incidents related to the severe cyclonic storm in the Konkan region. Four people died in Raigad district, one sailor died in Sindhudurg district and two died in Navi Mumbai and Ulhasnagar in Thane district from falling trees. An official statement said that two boats anchored at Anandwadi harbor in Sindhudurg district sank on which seven sailors were on board.
