Rawalpindi: During the first T20 International between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, Pakistan’s left-arm veteran fast bowler Wahab Riaz (Wahab Riaz) violated the Kovid-19 rules by applying saliva to the ball. The umpires warned him of this mistake.
The incident happened in the 11th over of Zimbabwe’s innings when Wahab was bowled by umpires Aleem Dar and Asia Yakub for bowling and asked the bowler to keep the ball on the ground.
The reserve umpire then brought wipes to the ground, which cleared the ball from the umpires and then the game resumed.

Former Pakistan captain and now commentator Rameez Raja said in a funny tone that while clearing the ball it looks as if the umpire is touching the hand grenade.
In August, Pakistan pacer Mohammad Aamir was warned to apply saliva to the ball during the first T20 International against England at Old Trafford.
Apart from this, during the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020), Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli and Rajasthan Royals batsman Robin Uthappa were also seen salivating at the ball during fielding.
Explain that according to the rules of the International Cricket Council, a penalty of five points is imposed on the bowling team after being warned three times for applying saliva to the ball.
