These women wicketkeepers overtake Dhoni in T20 International

new Delhi. Mahendra Singh Dhoni (Mahendra Singh Dhoni), the “Captain Cool” of Indian cricket, achieved dozens of achievements in his 16-17 year career. Some of these records were made during his captaincy, and some records were stored in his account as wicketkeepers, doing excellent work with Gloves behind the wicket before retiring. In such a situation, there is always a discussion about who will be the wicketkeeper, who will deposit Dhoni’s records in ODI and T20 International cricket in his account. But now this will not be discussed.

A woman wicketkeeper has taken Dhoni’s T20 International record to his name. The woman wicketkeeper is Alyssa Healy, who is Australia’s legendary female wicketkeeper as well as niece of former Australian men’s wicketkeeper Ian Healy.

Dhoni broke the record of the highest victim
Alyssa equaled Dhoni’s 91 T20 International matches with the controversial stump of Amy Satterthwaite during the T20 International match against New Zealand on Sunday. After this, Alyssa caught the catch of Lauren Down, beating Dhoni to 92 and became the world’s number-1 wicketkeeper. Although Dhoni had done so many hunts in 97 innings, Heale had to keep wicketkeeping in 99 innings for this.

Left behind in even the most matches
Alyssa Healy has not only left Dhoni behind in most hunting but he has also beaten Dhoni in the record of most matches as a wicketkeeper. Dhoni played 98 matches during his career, while Hely has now got 99 matches and he is just a step away from becoming the world’s first wicketkeeper to play 100 international matches.

50 stumps world’s second keeper
Not only this, when Healy stumped Satherweight, another unique record also came in his name. This was Healy’s 50th T20 International stump and she has become just the second wicketkeeper in the world to do so. Apart from him, this record was in the name of Sarah Tylor of England, who has done 51 stumps in her T20 career. Not only this, more stumps have been registered in Heely’s account and according to this he is also the second cricketer after Sara.

Second keeper with 50 matches on home pitch
Healy has completed his 50 T20 Internationals in Australia along with this match. He is just the second wicketkeeper in the world to play 50 or more matches on his home pitches. Before them, this record was just A. It is in the name of Mohammad, who played 50 matches in his home.
