Kohli will return home from Adelaide for the birth of his first child after attending the first match of the 4-match Test series starting on 17 December. However, he will be a part of ODI and T20 series. The ODI series starts on November 27.
Chappell has said, “When Captain Kohli returns after the first Test for the birth of his first child, India will have to face problems regarding selection. This will create a big void in the Indian batting order and will also give a chance to the player coming in their place that they can show their talent and earn a name. What is driving us towards an interesting match is the important selection process. The result will show who is a brave selector.
