This big dispute between the players of India-Sri Lanka, no cricket fan could forget

New Delhi: The ODI series is to be played between Team India and Sri Lanka (IND VS SL) from July 18. Due to Corona, this series has been affected a lot, but the fans are waiting when this series will start. At one time, there used to be a lot of fierce matches between India and Sri Lanka, in which the heat among the players was very common. Today we will talk about similar stories, when the players of these two teams had made the ground a battlefield.

Randiv had done dishonesty with Sehwag

Every cricket fan will remember the name of former Sri Lankan cricketer Suraj Randiv. In 2010, the Triangular Series was being played in Sri Lanka, in which India and Sri Lanka were face to face in the third match. Team India was winning that match and Sehwag was about to complete his century. But this could not happen.

India needed one run to win that match and Sehwag was on strike after scoring 99 runs. At that time Suraj Randiv had deliberately bowled a no-ball at the behest of Tillakaratne Dilshan, due to which Sehwag could not complete his century and Viru remained not out after scoring 99 runs in 100 balls. Due to this incident, Randiv also had to face a one-match ban.

Captain Ganguly was left while being banned

Discussions of Ganguly Dada’s grandfather are quite famous, one of them was seen on the pitch against a Sri Lankan player. During the 2002 Champions Trophy, Sri Lankan all-rounder Russell Arnold was running on the pitch and Ganguly came and explained to him. During this, when Russell tried to show his arrogance to Dada, he repeatedly said the same thing.

Both the umpires tried to convince Ganguly that Dada should not get angry. While explaining to Dada, the umpire stopped, but until Russell was silent standing on the pitch, Dada repeatedly went and explained the same thing to him. During this, Ganguly survived while being banned.
