This former PAK captain raised questions on Kohli’s captaincy, said this to Sachin

new Delhi: Former Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf has rated the Indian batting order of Sachin Tendulkar’s time better than the current batsman order led by Virat Kohli, saying that the level of bowlers at that time is currently Was better than Yusuf Tendulkar, himself a veteran batsman, is considered better than batsmen like Brian Lara and Ricky Ponting and the most complete batsman of his time.

Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, was quite powerful – Yusuf

Recently, Mohammad Yousuf said in a media interview that, Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Lokesh Rahul are all level batsmen but if I can compare then the batting order of Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and Sourav Ganguly was better. He said, the level of bowling is not that good these days, cricket has changed a lot and now things are different.

On Tendulkar’s batting, Yusuf said, “When I was playing for Pakistan, at that time there were legendary batsmen like Brian Lara, Ponting, Matthew Hayden but I always believed that Tendulkar is the most complete batsman in every way.” Yusuf said that when he played, India’s bowling was not that strong compared to the current attack. But at that time the batting was of the highest level.

At present, Kohli is a ‘Virat’ batsman

Yusuf, who has played 90 Tests and 288 ODIs for Pakistan, said that he likes to see Rohit Sharma playing but he always believes that Kohli is more serious, committed and hard working. He said, Kohli is very committed and that is why he is so successful and he has scored runs in all cricket playing countries.

I believe that captaincy has made him a better player. Yusuf said that it is unfair to compare Babar Azam and Kohli as the current Indian captain is far more experienced and has experience of playing in many countries.
