Sydney: Team India has reached Sydney for their Australia tour. Australian stars David Warner, Steve Smith, Pat Cummins, who played in the IPL 2020 along with the Indian team cricket team also reached. The Government of New South Wales has allowed the Indian team to practice during the 2-week quarantine. The Indian team will practice at the Blacktown International Sports Park, which has been prepared as a bio bubble.

Team India captain Virat Kohli will return home due to the birth of his first child after the first day-night Test match to be held in Adelaide from 17 to 21 December. Special care will be taken during the quarantine. The Indian team will stay at the Pullman Hotel for the next 2 weeks. Previously the New South Wales rugby team also stayed here. This team has now moved to another hotel.
Hotel officials gave a special penthouse suite for the Indian captain’s stay where Australian rugby legend Brad Fittler usually stays. The New South Wales government has allowed a limited number of families and the family of the players will have to follow the quarantine rules.

The Australian cricketer, who returned from the UAE after the IPL, will however join the national team camp from 22 November. They will practice apart. The limited overs series between India and Australia will be played in Sydney and Canberra from 27 November.
For the first time, the Indian cricketer will wear dark blue jersey during the limited overs series in this tour which will have many colored stripes on the shoulders. The Indian team wore a similar jersey during the 1992 World Cup.
