Tokyo: Fawad Mirza, the only Indian in the Olympics in more than two decades, finished at number 22 with 11-20 penalty points after the cross-country round of Ravivar.
Will have to show on August 2
Fawad Mirza and his horse Signor Medicott could finish in the top 25 if they perform well in the individual show jumping qualifiers on August 2. With this, he will make it to the finals of the individual category of Eventing Jumping to be held in the evening.
Fawad gets penalty points
Fawad Mirza has a total of 39-20 penalty points. He completed the country run in just 8 minutes. In the Horse Racing Crosscountry individual category, a player has to make a complete round of the course within 7 minutes 45 seconds in order to reduce the time penalty. The lower the penalty, the higher the point table.
