New Delhi: India’s star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has created history by winning a gold medal in the Tokyo Olympic Games. This is the first time after 13 years that India has got gold in the Olympic Games. On this special occasion, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi himself has congratulated him by phone.

Received gold after 13 years

This is India’s first gold medal in Olympic Games after 13 years. Before Neeraj Chopra, Abhinav Bindra won the gold medal in shooting in the Beijing Olympics. This is India’s second overall gold medal at the Olympics. Earlier, India has won 8 gold medals in hockey.
