Tokyo Paralympic 2020: PM Modi wishes Indian players, watch video


New Delhi: Indian players performed well in Tokyo Olympics 2020, winning a total of 7 medals, including Neeraj Chopra’s gold medal. This was India’s best ever performance in the Olympic Games. Similar performance will now be expected from Indian players in the Paralympic Games starting tomorrow.

Today, just before the Paralympic Games, the opening ceremony was held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. During this, players from all countries also did a flag parade. Meanwhile, Indian players also participated in the flag parade, a video of which is becoming fiercely viral on social media.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi also congratulated the players participating in the Tokyo Paralympic Games. PM Modi has shared a video of the flag march of the Indian contingent in the Paralympic Games on his Twitter account. Meanwhile, while congratulating the players in a tweet, the PM wrote, ‘Good luck India! I am sure that our Paralympic contingent will give its best and will continue to inspire others as well. In this video, PM is seen supporting the players by clapping in his office.

Paralympic Games will start from tomorrow

Tokyo Paralympic Games 2020 will start from tomorrow. The Paralympic Games will be held in Japan’s capital Tokyo from August 24 to September 5. This time 54 players from India will participate in this Paralympic Games. The whole country has hope from the Paralympic players of India.

Apart from PM Modi, many cricketing legends also wished the Indian Paralympic players good luck for this year’s Games. Indian team captain Virat Kohli also wished all the players. Apart from this, Sachin Tendulkar also wished the para athletes.
