Total 9 members of Pakistan team got corona, breaking protocol was expensive

Karachi: Three more members of the Pakistan team that went on a tour to New Zealand have been found positive during the Corona virus investigation. Now the number of infected members in Pakistan team has increased to nine.

A source in the Pakistan Cricket Board said that the New Zealand Health Department has confirmed that three more members have been infected while a result is awaited.

The source said that it is not yet known whether he has got infection for the first time or has already happened. Of the six members who were previously found positive, two have been re-infected.

Meanwhile, the PCB has taken these incidents seriously that some members of the team are trying to show that their segregation is like a jail.

Board CEO Wasim Khan had instructed the team to follow the protocol in an audio message sent to the team after six players were found positive.

The Pakistan team arrived in New Zealand on 24 November and is quarantined for 14 days. New Zealand cricket had accused the Pakistan team that they had broken the biosafety protocol and now they will have to stay in seclusion for some time so that they will not be able to practice.

The players of Pakistan team were to have the Kovid-19 (COVID-19) test on the third, sixth and 12th day of the Quarantine. In these tests, 7 players of Pakistan Cricket Team were found to be Coronavirus positive. After which the next Test was held on 30 November and now the number of Kovid in the team has increased to 9.
