Travis Head included in Australia Test team against India, these players also got a chance

new Delhi: Travis Head has been included in the Test team for the India-Australia Test Series 2020-21. Head has played 16 Test matches for the Kangaroo team so far, in which he has scored a total of 1,065 runs with the help of 2 centuries and 7 half-centuries. Head played brilliantly in the Sheffield Shield season, playing for South Australia, which has earned him a reward.

It is worth noting that under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, 4 Test matches will be played, which will start from Adelaide from 17 December, Team India defeated the hosts 2–1 in the Test series on their last tour of Australia. This was India’s first Test series win in Australia.

Travis Head often batting in the middle order when his team is in trouble, he has recently scored 2 centuries and a half century while playing for South Australia. Against the Tasmania team, he had scored an impressive 171 * runs and played an important role in drawing the match.

Not only that, playing for Victoria, Travis Head scored 151 runs in 296 balls which included 20 boundaries. Head is also the captain of South Australia, this team is also known as West End Redbacks.

Australian national selector Trevor Hohns praised Head’s leadership, stating that “Travis is an important member of the senior leadership group, contributing to the success of the world’s best Test team (Australia).” He is a great force for Tim and an experienced leader.
