In the second time, he covered a distance of 87.58. With this, he has thrown the javelin far beyond his qualification record. This is India’s first ever medal in Javelin Throw. Not only this, it is also India’s first medal in athletics.

Gavaskar started singing and dancing after winning gold

After winning the gold of Neeraj Chopra, Sunil Gavaskar, Ajay Jadeja and Ashish Nehra also jumped in joy along with the whole country.
