century not scored in 2 years
For Virat Kohli, who is called the king of batting, scoring a century 2 years ago was not a big deal. He was known to get Team India out of difficult situations. It was believed that Virat would break the great batsman Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 100 centuries very comfortably.
Last century came in 2019
Virat Kohli last scored a century in international cricket in the day-night test against Bangladesh in November 2019. Then he played the best innings of 136 runs in Kolkata. Since that century, Kohli has scored 1745 runs in a total of 48 innings in all three formats, including 17 half-centuries.
