New Zealand KL Rahul was not included in the playing XI of the Indian team in the World Test Championship. In the three-day warm-up match against County XI, Rohit, Agarwal and Pujara could not do anything and returned to the pavilion early. While all the batsmen were failing one by one, KL Rahul took over the team’s innings.

In the match, Indians won the toss and decided to bat first. Rohit 9 runs and Mayank Agarwal got out after scoring 28 runs. Cheteshwar Pujara also could not show anything amazing and scored 21 runs in 47 balls with the help of two fours. Hanuma Vihari returned to the pavilion after scoring 24 runs. However, after this, Rahul along with Jadeja handled the innings of the Indians and shared a 127-run partnership for the fifth wicket.

KL Rahul scored a century

KL Rahul retired after scoring 101 runs in 150 balls with the help of 11 fours and a six. Then Jadeja took over the innings from one end and played an important role in taking the team to a strong score.

Let us tell you that in this match, captain Virat Kohli is not playing due to injury and Rohit Sharma is taking over the command in his place.

India vs England to start from 4th August

After losing to New Zealand, now Team India has to play a 5-match Test series against England. The first match of the five-match Test series will be held in Nottingham from 4 to 8 August. The second Test match will be played at Lord’s from August 12, while the third Test is to be played at Headingley from August 25. The fourth Test will begin at the Kennington Oval ground on 2 September and the fifth Test match of the series will be played in Manchester till 10 September.
